Refund policy

At LoomMantra, every saree is handwoven with care and shipped with love. We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Order Cancellation

You may request a cancellation within 24 hours of placing your order, provided it has not yet been dispatched. Once an order has been processed or handed over to our courier partner, it cannot be cancelled.

If cancellation is not possible and the order is already out for delivery, you may choose to reject the parcel at the doorstep. Once it is returned to us and passes quality inspection, a refund will be processed as per our refund policy below.

2. Returns & Exchanges

Return Window

Return and exchange requests must be raised within 10 days of receiving your order. Requests raised after this window will not be entertained.

Sale Items

Products purchased during a sale or at a discounted price are non-refundable. However, they are eligible for an exchange (same or higher value) or a store credit.

Custom Orders

All custom-made or bespoke orders are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the product must be:

  • In its original, unused condition — unwashed and unaltered
  • With all original tags, labels, and packaging intact
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

LoomMantra reserves the right to refuse any return or exchange if the product does not meet these conditions. Items that are damaged, soiled, or returned without tags may be sent back to the customer.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

3. Reverse Shipping

In case of an approved return, a reverse shipping charge of ₹150 will be deducted from the refunded amount to cover return logistics costs.

If reverse pickup is unavailable at your location, you will be required to self-ship the product to the address shared by our team. In such cases, we will issue a ₹150 credit note towards your shipping expense.

4. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Products

If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect product, please inform us within 48 hours of delivery. Share clear images or an unboxing video highlighting the concern, along with your order details.

Please also inform us immediately if any product is delivered without tags.

5. Refund Process & Timeline

Once we receive your returned item and it clears our quality inspection:

  • Your return/exchange request will be processed within 2–3 business days of submission.
  • After quality inspection is cleared, any eligible refund will be completed within a further 2–3 business days.

Refund Methods

  • Prepaid orders: Refund will be credited directly to the original payment source (bank account, UPI, card, etc.).
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) orders: A Cashgram link will be sent via SMS/email for you to redeem your refund to your preferred bank account.

Note: The ₹150 reverse shipping charge will be deducted from the refund amount where applicable.

6. Non-Returnable Items

The following are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Custom or made-to-order products
  • Products purchased on sale (eligible for exchange or store credit only)
  • Items that have been used, washed, altered, or are missing their original tags/packaging
